History

1918	Company founded as North Bohemian Wagon & Engineering Works in Ceska Lipa (Severočeská vozovka a strojírna Česká Lípa)
1918 - 1930	Manufacture of freight cars, coaches, trams, locomotives.
1932	Transformation to Bohemia Wagon & Engineering Works, Ltd.( Bohemia Vozovka a strojírna, s. r. o.); joint division of Ringhoffer Tatra company.
1931 - 1945	Manufacture of rail cars, production of food-processing and construction machinery.
1946	Company was nationalized.
1950	Company renamed to Wagon Works Tatra Ceska Lipa, national company (Vagónka Tatra Česká Lípa, n. p.).
1960 - 1990	Manufacture of freight and special railway cars; worldwide exports.
1994	Transformation into state-owned Wagon Works Ceska Lipa, Inc.
1996	Deutsche Waggonbau AG acquires majority interest.
1997 - 1998	Restructuring of the company and investment program implementation.
1998	Acquisition by Bombardier Transportation.
2003	New name: Bombardier Transportation Czech Republic a. s.
2008	Incorporation into the Passengers division.
